About Me

Successful therapy begins with trust and a sense of safety. I lead with warmth and curiosity, never judgment, to open the door for greater awareness and self-expression.

I use a trauma-informed approach, which asks, “What happened to you?” rather than “What’s wrong with you?” Through this lens, our bodies are seen as tremendous sources of wisdom, with our nervous system alerting us to patterns of self-protection. My job is to guide you through a process of self-discovery as you develop the tools and resilience to move through future challenges on your own.

With a background in classical ballet, I see creativity as an incredible tool to manage stress and process the impacts of traumatic experiences. I also believe that healing the self often involves recognizing how we’ve been shaped and harmed by larger systems and cultural expectations. This shifts our focus away from symptoms and diagnoses and towards a more critical understanding and deconstruction of how our world inhibits potential.

I began my training in Psychology at Duke University and went on to get my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at New York University. I hold an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor license in the state of California. Currently, I’m pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at Pepperdine University. I’m passionate about working with young adults, the queer community, survivors of trauma, and those experiencing life transitions, relationship challenges or questions of identity.

I offer free, 15-minute consultations to briefly get to know each other and see how we could work together. I look forward to hearing from you.
